Eureka has a legacy of building tents for the armed forces and combat tents for military use, and draws on that experience in the Eureka Down Range Solo Tent. Able to withstand the rigors of a long-term campaign, this one-person, three-season tent can easily handle the recreational backcountry. Ideal for shorter trips, both in range and duration, the Down Range Solo is packed with aggressive, heavy-duty performance. Although remarkably wind-proof, this veteran has also been outfitted to provide ultimate ventilation: the fly door panels lock at the bottom with side-release buckles to eliminate wind-driven opening while vectored fly-to-tent-body side pullouts enhance airflow, interior volume, and stability. Included in the fly are two additional hooded vents that direct airflow from the bottom of the tent through and out the top. Easily set up in less than ten minutes, the simple two-pole dome structure can be adjusted to tension the fly and create a staked vestibule able to fit a small amount of gear, one pack, or maybe a poodle. Four side wall pockets and a gear hammock line the inside of the tent for customized and easily accessible storage options.
